Research Area

Our group is primarily engaged in enzyme technology, such as structure and function of enzymes. Our aim is to enhance enzyme activity, modify enzyme properties through modern biotechnology (genetic engineering, metabolic engineering, DNA shuffling, propoplast mutation, ion beam mutation, etc) and to search and exploit new enzymes.
