In view of the international development in the field of industrial biotechnology, Advanced Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Base actively takes action on “technology integration demonstration” and “key technology incubation”, so as to meet the demand of China’s recycling economy and sustainable development. With regard to bioenergy, bio-based product, biomanufacturing and bioprocessing, it carries out study on the innovation and transformation of technology integration, and meanwhile develops new products, underpinning bioindustry with science and technology. As to the domains of biocatalysis, biotransformation, metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, industrial and energy microbial resource, fermentation as well as bioprocess engineering, the base improves its systematic innovation research, leading the industrial biotechnology to further advancement.
